Welcome to the Hama Hama Oyster Company Blog! We’re a small oyster and clam farm located on Hood Canal, on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula, near the tiny town of Lilliwaup. Frequently we get inquiries from people who are curious to come work at or tour our oyster farm. Yes! Please visit. We won’t put you to work, but we will give you a tour of our facilities. But if you can’t make it all the way out to Lilliwaup, then hopefully this blog will serve to bring Lilliwaup to you. As soon as we get our WordPress blog working correctly (!) we’re going to post photos of our shellfish farm, the work it involves, and the creatures and critters that live on it. We’ll also share our favorite shellfish and seafood recipes and keep you updated about sales at our ecommerce site, hamahamastore.com. Thanks for visiting, and come back soon!

    Hey there,

I DO know someone who loves eating moonsnails. She lives way up in Jefferson County so maybe that explains it, just kidding, but I’ll search her out and find out why and how. who knows it may be the next big thing…….!?

My wife and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary at a restaurant in downtown Frankfurt, I was based close by in the Army.
As I can best recall….some 25+ years later….we both “OOOD’d & AAHHHHHD'” over not just the size of the hors0devore’s but the rings of these gastropods.
And as I will never forget, these juicey dudes, dredged in melted garlic , was UNforgetable!

I cant wait to try some of your smoked oysters and salmon.
