OYSTER RAMA RETURNS!

April 18th & 19th 2026
TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Celebrate the tideflats! We're welcoming the public to our beach to learn about oysters, oyster farming, and life in the Hood Canal, aquatic and other. We call this beach festival the Hama Hama Oyster Rama. It's not the biggest party in the world, but it might be the biggest subtidal one!
The Rama features tours with intertidal ecologists and oyster growers, u-pick oysters and clams, an oyster shucking competition, beer and wine, kid's activities, live music, and various delicious food options. Every year, the Rama benefits local Hood Canal charities.
This will be the first Oyster Rama since 2019 - read below for more information about how the event has changed (or not!).
Tickets are needed for everybody 16 and up (this means folks 15 and under get in free). Tickets get you into the event and entered into a door prize drawing. 2026 tickets are on sale now!

Planning Your Rama Experience
Purchase $45 entrance tickets for everyone over the age of 16.
If you want to harvest oysters to take home, you'll also need to buy an $85 u-pick pass to pre-purchase 3 dz oysters oysters and 3 lbs of clams that you'll harvest on site. These passes come with 5 gallon buckets.
Sign up ahead of time for a Seaweed Printing Workshop - ticket link will be mailed to Saturday tickeholders in early April.
Want to make a weekend of it? Book a house, hotel room, or camping spot ahead of time. The Glen and Mike's Beach are the closest resorts, and The Cove RV Park is a great campground in Brinnon. Alderbrook Resort is about 45 minutes away.
Saturday we'll have a transit between Hama Hama and Eagle Creek generously provided by Mason Transit Authority.
Bring this stuff:
Knee high rubber boots.
Weather appropriate gear, which can be anything from rain coats to sunglasses.
ID to prove you're over 21 (if you want to drink alcohol).
Don't bring:
Your dog. Usually we're a dog friendly spot, but the Rama is just too big and crowded.
Food or drink. There's no outside food or drink allowed inside the event.
Chairs or blankets for seating - this is more of a moving around party.
Safety Considerations
There will be EMT's on site, and first aid kits & fire extinguishers throughout the event
Everyone who walks out on the tideflats has to sign a safety waiver, and hear a speech about how to stay safe on the flats. Short version: watch where you step, stay out of fenced off areas, and don't let your kids run around.
VERY IMPORTANT: Do not park along 101. We have hordes of volunteers lined up to help you find a safe parking spot
Come on site at your own risk - our farm contains unmarked hazards, both manmade and natural.
