Hood Canal Spot Prawns - Frozen 1/2 Lb Tails

Description

The elusive Hood Canal Spot Prawn! These delicious spot prawns are heavily regulated to prevent overharvest and are only available a few days a year. We buy them fresh from local Skokomish Tribal members and freeze the tails in pint containers in 1/2 lb units. Availability is limited.

Keep in mind, when cooking these shrimp, that they cook in minutes. When they're firm and the shells are pink and the meat is white (and no longer translucent), they're done!

FYI: this is an add-on product, meaning that we'll only ship them if you add them to a box of oysters or clams.
