Blue Pool Oysters

3 dozen bag

Description

Tumbling gives Blue Pools deep cups and smoother shells for easier shucking and better presentation. It also changes their flavor and seasonality. Raw Blue Pool oysters tend to have more body than our beach grown varieties, with a finish leaning towards the earthy sweetness of a carrot, rather than a cucumber.

Both Blue Pools and Hama Hamas are grown on our home farm in Lilliwaup... sample them together to see how growing method influences an oyster's shape and flavor profile.

This is a 3 dozen bag of extra small oysters.

Great quality as always

Super fresh and delicious. I think if you're in the Portland area you can definitely bank on these being only about a day or day and half out out of the ocean.
