It's Seafood Boil Time!

It's Seafood Boil Time!

Want to host a seafood boil party? Our Pacific Northwest Seafood Boil Meal Kit includes carefully sourced shellfish, locally made smoked sausage and seasoning, and step-by-step instructions for an unforgettable summer dinner.

This kit comfortably feeds 6 people or more, making it ideal for beach cookouts, family dinners, or casual entertaining.

How do you make a seafood boil?

This is gourmet food that cooks up into a memorable meal, but it's basically just cutting and boiling. The art of a seafood boil is getting the timing correct, with the goal of adding ingredients in stages so that everything finishes at the same time. Potatoes cook first, followed by onions and corn, then sausage and clams, finally the prawns and pre-cooked Dungeness crab. The goal is tender potatoes and perfectly cooked seafood.

Fortunately, the kit also contains easy peasy step-by-step written instructions, so you'll know what to add to the pot when.

How simple can it be? Check the recipe here!

What's included in our Pacific Northwest Seafood Boil Kit?

We take care in our sourcing, from Hood Canal spot prawns harvested by Skokomish Tribal fishermen to hand-harvested Puget Sound clams and locally blended seafood seasoning.

Our 2026 Kit includes:

  • 4 lbs manila steamer clams harvested by hand from beaches in the Puget Sound
  • 2 clusters (1 whole crab) precooked Dungeness crab caught and processed in Alaska, sourced from Northern Fish in Tacoma, WA
  • 1/2 lb spot prawns harvested by Skokomish Tribal members in Hood Canal, and processed and packaged at Hama Hama
  • 1 sausage rope from Tri City Meats, in Olympia
  • 1 tin seafood seasoning from Spiva Cooking, based out of Bremerton, WA
  • 1 Mason County Journal for some true local flavor
  • Recipe & Instructions

You'll also need to procure:

  • 2 cans or bottles of beer (bonus points for Rainier)
  • 2 pounds small red or yellow potatoes (if larger than 1 ½” in diameter, cut them in half)
  • 3-4 ears corn, shucked and cut in 2-3” pieces
  • 2 large onions (peeled and cut into quarters) or 3-4 spring onions, trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 sticks (½ pound) butter

What size pot do you need for a seafood boil?

A 16-quart stock pot is the minimum size for this seafood boil recipe, although a 20-quart pot works even better if you're adding extra corn or potatoes. You can cook it on a standard kitchen stove or on a propane burner outdoors.
