Let us do the work for you! This is a half gallon container of pre-shucked oysters.
During the summer, these oysters are only for cooking. (If you're planning on eating oysters raw, we highly recommend buying live oysters and shucking them yourself).
Our preferred preparation is fried... here's the recipe with our pro tips, and you can buy the breading, tartar, and hot sauce as an add-on.
Counts per half gallon are as follows:
- Yearling: 128 to 144
- Extra Small: 72 to 90
- Small: 48 to 60
- Medium: 32 to 44

As of 2023 we are only shipping shucked oysters pre-frozen. They will defrost slightly during transport and should be put in your refrigerator to thaw right away, and used within 1 week of arrival.
Remember that consuming raw or undercooked shellfish increases the risk of foodborne illness.

The package came as promised. The food was great. Some of the best oyster I have eaten. The Olympia oysters not as good as I expected. The the rest was fantastic.
Absolutely Perfect and Delicious! The oysters were shucked on 12/30/24 and arrived at house in southern California on 12/31/24. They were so fresh and clean and tasted like ocean.
We grilled some of them in stainless steel half oyster shells with compound butter and deep fried some and served with homemade tarter sauce. It was enough for three adults to have two meals along with bread and coleslaw.
Had 5 grilled oysters left over and had them for brunch with grits, soft scrambled eggs, steamed spinach, and toasted bread. Grilled oysters make a great breakfast too!
Both the grilled and the fried oysters reheated beautifully following simple instructions.
I had given up on being able to get a truly delicious oyster dinner in SoCAl without breaking the bank. This is definitely the way to go and I will be able to enjoy truly incredible oysters more often. It was a perfect beginning to a New Year.

The oysters were shipped to my daughter in Idaho and it arrived on the day as schuled , she was very impressed. It was packed well .
This is the second order I’ve gotten from Hama on my end. As with the last one I am very very pleased with what I received in my head. Of 28 hours I had oysters at my door. Can’t get any fresher than that. They were perfect size being extra smalls. I ate Three dozen or so with my friend and the rest, went into the dressing and I’ll tell you at it was wonderful so fresh that was oysters are just like they came out of the ocean. Worth the money that’s for certain thank you for being Hama Hama Oyster.
