Alaskan Halibut

7-9 ounce portion packs of Alaskan Halibut. This fish was hook-and-line-caught by members of the Seafood Producers Cooperative, which fishes out of Alaska.

Halibut is famous for its firm, flaky texture and mild, slightly sweet flavor. It's an incredibly versatile fish to cook with, since it's delicious served simply, but is capable of holding its own in a heavily seasoned sauce.

These portion packs will feed ~2 people. They may defrost slightly during transport. You can return them to the freezer, or continue to defrost them under refrigeration and consume within 1 day.

Note that this is an add-on only... it won't be shipped out by itself. Because it requires refrigeration, it needs to go in a box with oysters and clams.
