Hardship duty: when your job requires you to travel to LA for a weekend to shuck oysters with some of your favorite folks and *maybe* catch a few waves. The last time Adam and I travelled together in California, we got 5 traffic tickets within an hour of landing. Can we beat that record?? Only time will tell!
We'll be in LA Friday October 13 to teach an oyster shucking class at the Sur La Table Farmers Market store. Then, on October 14th and 15th we'll be shucking at the DTLA oyster fest in the Grand Central market. The fest runs from 11 am to 8 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
Yes, that's a lot of shucking. But come on, do we look like lightweights??
