2024 Job Post: Seasonal Plant Production Crew

Hama Hama Oyster Company is looking for a Seasonal Plant Production Worker.

Plant production workers keep our customers happy and our product fresh. They rinse, sort, and bag oysters and clams for sale to chefs and online store customers; box up orders for shipment; and keep our facility clean and tidy. As the last people to handle the product before we seal the box and ship it out, they are the last line of our quality control, tasked with ensuring that the product we sell is cold, fresh, clean, consistently sized, and properly counted. They care about customer experience, love getting all the right pieces in all the right boxes, and understand that happy customers become repeat customers. They enjoy working on a team and are collaborative, polite, and communicative, but can also put their head down and work productively by themselves when the job requires it. They’re willing to train on both forklift and pressure washer, take safety seriously, can work on their feet for several hours at a time, and aren’t afraid of getting dirty. When all the orders are shipped, they clean and organize grounds and gear.
