Oyster Rancher's Sandwich with roast beef, tomato, lettuce and smoked oyster mayo

Oyster Rancher's Sandwich

A perfect sandwich to pack in your grub bag for a day spent roaming the oyster prairie.


8 to 12 smoked oysters
1 cup mayo
1 clove garlic, sliced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons Tabasco sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

roast beef or sliced steak
tomato, sliced & sprinkled with salt
iceberg lettuce
your favorite sandwich bread


In a food processor, blend oysters, mayo, garlic, Worcestershire, Tabasco and horseradish.

Slather both sides of the bread with the mayo, and assemble the sandwich.

Use leftover mayo on tomorrow's sandwich or tonight's french fries.
