A monster south wind picked up last Tuesday afternoon, and we thought we were in trouble. It rained and rained and melted (almost) all the snow and reminded us all of the terrible storm of December, 2007. But fortunately this storm didn't do much damage to the Hood Canal area. Thanks for the post! We have not been up to Frenchman’s Cove since last Sunday and I know it was SSW windy and wet. Our son and his girlfriend are at the cabin this weekend so hopefully they won’t find any trees/branches down etc. Glad HH premises unscathed.
Cheers
