Position Summary:
The Fulfillment Sales Specialist keeps the oysters moving from farm to restaurant by processing orders, tracking inventory, and coordinating delivery logistics. This role requires a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers. The job involves receiving and processing orders via email and text, reconciling inventory in the FileMaker database, fulfilling and tracking outgoing shipments, and preparing necessary documents such as delivery notes and pickup slips. Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory counts, submitting barge requests, pushing invoices to QuickBooks, and performing general data entry. Success in this position requires strong computer skills, a love for systems and spreadsheets, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn and improve processes continuously.
Primary Responsibilites Include:
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Receive orders from customers and answer questions as they come through via phone calls, text, and email
- Provide excellent customer service regarding Hama Hama products and services
- Track FedEx shipments alerting customers and the sales team as issues arise
- Assist with onboarding of new customers with Accounting and the Sales team
- When requested, check in with customers who haven't ordered and prepare and send the Fresh Sheet based on expected inventory
Inventory Management
- Reconcile inventory in the database, assist with counting inventory, and update spreadsheets with accurate inventory information
Fulfillment
- Print orders, packing slips, and shipping labels
- Download orders from the online store and upload into a spreadsheet
- Communicate with shipping providers
- Work with Plant Operations Manager, Fulfillment Manager and Sales Lead to troubleshoot fulfillment issues
- Push approved invoices to QuickBooks
- General data entry related to fulfillment and sales operations
Safety & Compliance
- Know and follow all rules regarding shellfish sales and time to temperature
- Follow HACCP plan to maintain compliance and document as needed
Requirements Include:
- Education: High School diploma, GED or other alternative equivalent
- Fundamental Skills: Proficient in Google Office, excel, and other common computer tasks, reliable communication abilities, strong numeracy, and foundational problem-solving skills necessary for workplace learning
- Strong Learning Mindset: Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for acquiring new skills, with proven ability to embrace feedback and continuous improvement

Total Rewards:
This is a full-time / year round position with an on-site work schedule. Expected hours of work are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Compensation range starts at $25.00 - $27.50 per hour. Position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
